Staying on the grandparent theme, here's a collection of animals from my grandmother's childhood. These are not yet a century old, but not too far from it! My grandmother played with some pretty fabulous things as a child (that zoo book is still waiting for me to make a box for it...).
You may remember the peacock from part 2. The animals are printed on heavy cardstock and stapled pretty crudely onto small blocks of wood, so they stay in upright position. The goats are missing their block of wood, but I consider them lucky as they still have their heads unlike some other guys. I should really do some repair work with the torn bits that are not yet lost.
