This is a one of a kind mixed media art brooch made from repurposed materials. The main attraction is the old black and white photo of a young boy, which I've stuck to the inside bottom of a small round vintage tin. Along the inside edge there's a sliver of text cut up from an old Wallace Stevens' poetry book. It reads: "The difficulty to think at the end of day", which creates a lovely juxtaposition with the young boy standing with his hands in his pant pockets.

- the photo hasn't been treated in any way - by which I mean, I didn't add a coating of lacquer as it always changes the overall feel of old photos - so, this brooch is not waterproof and you should be mindful how you treat it
