The dress pattern is from this book. It was love at first sight. I looked ages for the perfect fabric; apparently I'm a bit picky when it comes to patterned fabrics! I bought some Amy Butler's Coriander in clay and realized that it was hardly my color (it made my skin look gray, yuck!), so with a little encouragement from my genius friend Milla I dyed most of the fabric with coffee-colored Dylon. Perfect. I couldn't be happier. (Oh, the belt is just my own addition to the pattern. I'm not planning to wear the dress with an umbrella and wellingtons in the future, but the weather conditions are what they are. You can thank my DH for this ridiculously strange photo shoot.)
