There's loads of books (some manly, some awesomely feminine, and some completely unisex and kid-friendly) and affordable art (tiny and not-so-tiny) available in the Paperiaarre shop. I've even made some especially neutral books suitable as gifts for people you know nothing about, but can't strike off your gift list. Sounds horrid, but I suppose everyone has faced that particular problem one time or another...
